July 22RAFAEL BALTRESCA This is a double-header from Portugal: Rafael Baltresca is both a magician and a professor who is known for teaching audiences how to transform dreams into achievable goals. August 19DANIEL KETCHEDJIAN Daniel comes from Uruguay to present his lecture entitled, “The Secrets, the Magic, the Person.” While he believes that learning the secrets is good, doing good magic is better and to do that, you must first focus on the person. This will be an audio-visual lecture about parlour magic. Daniel will demonstrate his own effects and mingle them with his theories that are based on more than 20 years of experience. August 26JOHN CARNEY John Carney is acclaimed as one of the finest magicians in the world. His books, Carneycopia and The Book of Secrets, are considered by many to be modern classics. John’s lecture will include stage and close-up magic using cards, coins, cigars and a variety of everyday objects. Each routine is a lesson in itself, containing the insights and ingenuities that have made John one of the premier teachers of magic today.
